On the day of weekly expiry, there was huge volatility in the Indian stock markets. Sensex and Nifty started with strength but gradually it got weak.
The Sensex saw a fall of 98 (0.18 percent) and the index closed at the level of 53,416.15. Apart from this, Nifty 50 has also seen a decline of 28 points (0.18 per cent).
The index closed at the level of 15,938.70. In today’s trading session, buying was seen in 1395 shares, while there was a sell-off in 1920 shares. On the other hand, the prices of 147 shares remained stable.
