The central government has decided to introduce a precautionary dose of COVID vaccines for all adults from today. As part of the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi from July 15, a campaign will be launched for free precautionary supplements for the next 75 days. This decision was approved in the cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently. Free booster doses will be provided to all adults at government centres.

First phase of CUET-UG exam starts from today
The first edition of Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG), the country’s second largest entrance exam, will begin from today. Centers have been set up in 510 cities in India and abroad for the exam. 14.9 lakh students have registered for CUET. Students who pass this exam will be able to take admission in the central universities of the country at the undergraduate level.
