Tamil Nadu: No End Of Feud, Over 100 Aiadmk Members Sacked Since July 11 General Council Meeting

The fight between EK Palaniswami and O Panneerselvam factions of Tamil Nadu’s opposition AIADMK is not stopping. The two have started a race to expel each other’s supporters after the party’s general body meeting. So far more than 100 members have been dismissed.
In the AIADMK meeting held on July 11, Palaniswami was appointed interim general secretary of the party and expelled Panneerselvam. Palaniswami has, in a way, captured the party. Now he has expelled 21 supporters of Panneerselvam from the party. The former CM has thus far expelled 39 supporters. They have been accused of anti-party activities.
