Tamil Nadu Aiadmk Leader Palaniswami Expels Panneerselvam Sons And Other Leaders Including Mps And Mlas News In English

Edapaddi Palaniswami, interim general secretary of Tamil Nadu’s main opposition All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), on Thursday expelled former chief minister O Panneerselvam’s sons and several other supporters from the party. These include the two sons of Panneerselvam, besides the party’s Lok Sabha members from Theni constituency, Rabindranath and Jayapradeep. Along with them, former minister Vellamandi N Natarajan was also shown the way out of the party.

The leaders who have been expelled from the primary membership of the party include former MLAs and MPs, among 20 others. An AIADMK order said the move amounted to disciplinary action. All those 18 leaders worked against the party’s interests, principles and defamed the organization.

On the other hand in this case O. A statement has also been issued on behalf of Panneerselvam. His close leader Kovai Selvaraj said, “22 party members have been expelled from the primary membership. These include leaders like KP Munusamy, Natham Viswanathan, Thangamani.”
