OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei’s new tech company Nothing has launched its first smartphone Nothing phone 1 globally. Nothing phone 1 was in the news for its features and design even before it hit the market. Now the phone is in discussion once again. Actually, now a user has filed a complaint on Twitter regarding the Nothing phone.

The user tweeted and wrote that this phone has been given an IP53 rating for water resistant, even after this moisture has come in its camera. The user had also tagged the company’s CEO Carl Pei seeking help in this tweet. However, after the user’s complaint, Now Nothing has asked the user to send a new phone.

There has been an allegation of discrimination before
After a video of a YouTuber named Prasadtechintelugu surfaced on YouTube, Nothing was also accused of insulting South Indians. The matter had escalated so much that #DearNothing and #BoycottNothing started trending on Twitter. Actually Prasad had made an unboxing video while taunting the Nothing Company. The video showed a fake unboxing of the Nothing Phone 1, which also contained a letter with an empty box of Nothing. On which it was written, This device is not for South Indian people.

However this letter and this video were false. After this, Nothing issued an official statement calling this video a lie. Nothing had said that he had not sent any such letter.

Nothing Phone 1 has been given Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor and two rear cameras of 50 megapixels. Gorilla Glass protection and Android 12 have been given in the front and back of the phone. Apart from this, the phone has a 6.55-inch Full HD Plus OLED display, HDR10+ support, Snapdragon 778G+ processor with 1200 nits brightness and up to 256 GB of storage with 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM. The price of the phone starts at Rs 32,999 and comes with 4500mAh battery, 33W fast charging. The phone has also got an IP53 rating.
