The wait for Nothing Phone 1 is over. OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei’s new company Nothing has launched its first smartphone Nothing Phone 1. Nothing Phone 1 has been launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor and dual rear cameras. Both the rear cameras in Nothing Phone 1 are of 50 megapixels. The protection of Gorilla Glass has been given on both the front and back of the phone. The sale of the phone will be from Flipkart. Glyph interface has been given with the phone, which comes with LED strips. It has OLED display.
Nothing Phone 1 costs Rs 32,999 for 128 GB storage with 8 GB RAM, Rs 35,999 for 256 GB storage with 8 GB RAM and Rs 38,999 for 256 GB storage with 12 GB RAM. The Nothing Phone 1 will go on sale starting July 21 at 7 PM in Black and White color from Flipkart. Customers who pre-order in the first sale will get a discount of Rs 1,000. With HDFC Bank cards, there will be a discount of Rs 2,000.
Android 12 will be available with Nothing Phone 1. Apart from this, the phone has a 6.55-inch Full HD Plus OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. There is Gorilla Glass protection on the display and back panel. There is support for HDR10+ with the display and the brightness is 1200 nits. The phone has Snapdragon 778G+ processor with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of storage.
Nothing The Phone 1 has dual rear cameras, a lens with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor with an aperture of /1.88 and support for both OIS and EIS. The second lens is also a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor, which is an ultra wide angle. With this, EIS stabilization will be available. On the front, a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 camera has been given. Panorama Night Mode, Portrait Mode, Expert Mode will be available with the camera.
For connectivity, the phone has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6 Direct, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS and Type-C port. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Nothing Phone 1 packs a 4500mAh battery with support for 33W wire charging and 15W wireless charging along with 5W reverse charging. The phone has got IP53 rating. It will get Android updates for three years and security updates for four years.
