Indonesia on Saturday urged G20 finance ministers to focus on their goals for global economic recovery. But sources said the meeting in Bali is likely to end without a formal release. One reason for this is the continuation of Russia’s war in Ukraine.
Two sources familiar with the matter said Indonesian Finance Minister Moolani Indravati, who is hosting the two-day event, is expected to issue a presidential statement summarizing the meeting. Meanwhile, senior Western diplomats, including US and Canadian Finance Ministers Janet Yellen and Chrystia Freeland, on Friday condemned the war and rebuked Russian officials for the massive economic fallout caused by the war.
Indian-American Naureen Hassan is the president of UBS Americas
Indian-American Narin Hasan has been appointed as the US President of the company by Switzerland-based financial giant UBS. She will also be the CEO of UBM Holding in the US. Hassan will take over in October this year. He is currently working at Federal Bank in New York. She will replace Tom Nartil in her new role.
