Expansion
For the second consecutive day in the country, more than 20 thousand new corona infected have been found on Friday. During this, 47 people died due to the epidemic. For the first time after the third wave, such a number of patients are being found. However, experts have ruled out the possibility of a new wave. In view of the increasing patients, the government has started a special campaign of booster dose from today. It will be provided free of cost to people between 18 and 59 years.
The daily infection rate was recorded at 4.44 percent in the last 24 hours. At the same time, there was an increase of 2997 in active cases and they increased to 1,39,073. On Friday, 20038 new cases were found. However, these are few as compared to Thursday. On Thursday, 20,139 new cases were reported.
Preventive measures necessary, immunity will increase with booster dose
For the past one month, there has been a continuous ups and downs in the daily cases of corona. However, more than 20 thousand new cases in a day have now come to the fore after the third wave. This fluctuation is certainly frightening, but health experts say that due to this, the possibility of another wave coming is negligible at the moment. However, all people should keep taking preventive measures keeping in mind the risk of corona infection. In view of the increasing patients, the government has started a special campaign of booster dose from today. It will be provided free of cost to people between 18 and 59 years.
3rd or booster dose also free
The government has recently reduced the interval for booster doses from nine months to six months after two vaccines, on the recommendation of the National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization. That is, people who have been given the second vaccine for six months, they can now get booster dolls free of cost. This dose is being given free of cost at government immunization centers. Even before this, the government had given two doses free of cost.
