The governor of the US state of Texas, Greg Abbott, has nominated Arun Agarwal to the board of directors of the Texas Economic Development Corporation (TXEDC). Agarwal is currently the CEO of Dallas-based clothing company Next. He also does charitable work.
Their efforts will be instrumental in making TxEDC a success, said Governor Abbott. Apart from clothing, Agarwal also has interests in cotton business and real estate.
He is also a member of the Board of the US-India Friendship Council, the Executive Board of UT Dallas, the Texas Tech Innovation Hub at Research Park and other organizations. He volunteers for a non-profit organization called ‘Chetna’. This organization works for the victims of domestic violence.
Aggarwal’s relationship with Ghaziabad
Indian-American Arun Agarwal has a special connection with Ghaziabad. He did his MBA from IMT, Ghaziabad, followed by a PG in Computer Information Systems from Southern New Hampshire University and a Certificate in International Business from Harvard University. Together we will make Texas a success center for small and large business owners globally, he added.
