Aparna Balamurali Reacts To National Film Award Win For Soorarai Pottru Says It Is Life Changing Journey

The 68th National Film Awards were announced by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Friday, with Tamil film ‘Soorarai Pottru’ emerging as the biggest winner, winning five awards. Out of this, actress Aparna Balamurali, who played the lead role in the film, received the Best Actress Award. Now actress Aparna has given her response on this and has also shared the experience of working in the film.

Actress reacts on winning National Film Award

Actress Aparna said in a statement, “Working in the film with exemplary talents like Sudha ma’am (director of the film) and Surya (actor Suriya Saravanan Sivakumar) was a life changing journey for me. Getting the National Film Award for Soorarai Pottru was indeed a life-changing journey for me. I have an honor as well as a responsibility to work even harder on my upcoming films.”

Started career in the world of acting in 2015

Actress Aparna, who won the National Award for the film Soorarai Pottru, is 26 years old and this is the first National Award of her career. The actress made her debut in the year 2015 with the film Oru Second Class and after that she has worked in Malayalam, Tamil to Telugu films. The film Soorarai Pottru has proved to be the turning point in his career.

Sorarai Potru received five awards

Talking about the film Soorarai Pottru, at the 68th National Film Awards, the film won five awards including three major awards including Best Feature Film, Best Actor and Best Actress, besides Best Screenplay and Best Music Direction (Background Score).
