The Center has listed 24 bills, including the Cantonment Bill, the Multi-State Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Bill and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Bill, to be introduced in the monsoon session of Parliament beginning Monday. Multi-State Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Bill Important
The Multi-State Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Bill proposes to rationalize the role of the government in cooperatives and increase participation in the working of multi-state cooperative societies, so as to increase public confidence in these societies and create a conducive environment for their development. To be. Similarly the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Bill seeks to strengthen the Code by introducing provisions on cross-border insolvency.

Some of the other bills listed to be introduced in Parliament during this session are the Coffee (Promotion and Development) Bill, Development of Hubs of Enterprises and Services Bill, which seeks to amend the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and frame rules. Proposes the Geographical Indications of Goods (Registration and Protection) (Amendment) Bill, the Warehousing (Development and Regulation) (Amendment) Bill and the Competition (Amendment) Bill. The government has also listed the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains (Amendment) Bill, which proposes to rationalize prohibited areas and bring in other amendments.
